How Long Should The Home Inspection Take?
A 1,500 sq. ft. single family resale house should take approximately 4 hours to complete. Larger houses will take longer.
What Will I Be Given at the Completion Of The Inspection?
At the conclusion of the inspection the inspector will review and present to you a typed report outlining his findings. Included in the report will be the condition of the property, the defects found, approximate longevity of some of the components and approximate retail repair costs for the defects found. Also included in the inspection report will be repair and maintenance techniques.
The report will also be available to be sent to you on the internet.

What Should I Bring To The Inspection?
Dress for the weather ( wear a coat, hat and gloves in the winter), an umbrella, a camera, a tape recorder, writing material, please do not bring children or pets as they may be bored during the lengthly inspection process and they may disturb your concentration.
